There are those rare days when the moment just wants to capture itself. For those brief times, all I need to do is raise the camera and frame the scene. This was one of those.
I've walked and driven past this very setting for years, but I've never seen this image. I'm not too sure what made today different. It just was.

My new black docs sure had a way of making my office brighter today. I love, love, love my docs. This is my third pair and they really are the shoe for me. I identify with their character and their passion. They're kinda like art for my feet. And that makes wherever I walk a gallery.

With my very first post of daily images, I've already cheated. Let's just call it research and development for working out the design details for this new journal and visual diary thing.
This image was taken on December 17th, 2010, just days before Emma Hern and the Offenders hit the recording studio to record their first album. I believe in lots of things. One of them is this band. Their music reaches in and touches my soul.
