face in a crowd by admin

The flurry of photographers trying to get in position for the staged shoot became as intriguing as the model herself. Sometimes stepping back is necessary to take in the full beauty of the moment.
A special kudos to the F.J. Westcott Company for providing these great sets, lighting, and models at Photoshop World.

slow ride, fast car by admin

I've always had a facination for cars. Always.
Today my morning commute looked exactly like this: dress slacks, blue oxford button down, Doc Martens, black Wayfarers, Mini Cooper S, 24 oz. freshly ground coffee, NPR morning news, and KISS ALIVE! at high volume complete with numerous hand gestures, lip pouts, and loud sing alongs. Maturity and education have finally crossed paths. This is exactly how I pictured my middle age would be. Rock on!

As a child, my father was my hero. And now as a middle aged man myself, he continues to be. I've always been incredibly thankful for all of those ordinary and real things he taught me about life and more importantly about living. There are still have days where I find myself learning from him. I sure miss having him around, and because he was always the man that I assumed knew everything, I’ll bet he knows that too. Happy Birthday, Dad. Cheers to your day!
