Pushing Paint
I believe in second chances. Some of my favorites are those days when I can take something discarded or abandoned and breathe new life into it. That sort of reinvention becomes the spark in my creative process.
My studio space surrounds me with inspiration, countless cans of mixed paint, and several old Mason jars filled with worn and tattered paintbrushes. Sitting alone on a shelf is a rusty-hinged wooden box with years of markings from pencils, chalk, and splatters of color. Each of their unique and imperfect paths has a story to share. My task is to tell it. I believe in second chances.
